Edward "Ed" Frederick Zinsmeister of Goshen, OH, formerly of Loveland, OH. Born on September 4, 1941 in Cincinnati, OH. Passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 79. Loving father of Vicki (Robbin) Bussell-Shanklin, Stephanie (Keith) Zinsmeister, Tracy (Brian) Damewood, Eddie (Angie) Zinsmeister and Rachael (Chris) Dickenson. Special friend Rob McCoy and Josh McCoy whom he loved like a son. Former husband of Faye (nee Smith) Henson, mother of Ed's children. Caring grandfather of Nikki Bitzer, Toni (Diana) Zinsmeister, Jasper Damewood, Emma Damewood, Jackie (Ben) Thomas, Trey Zinsmeister, Lily Zinsmeister, Antony Burch, Alex Burch, Drew Burch, Ava Pidgeon, Chad Pidgeon, Ava Dickenson, Adam Dickenson and the late James Hardy. Proud great-grandfather of Jillian, Richard, Noah, Vanessa, Valerie, Dexter, Braylin, AJ and Paul. Dear brother of Barbara (Howard) Seaman. Cherished son of the late Edward and Lillian (nee McDaniel) Zinsmeister. Devoted uncle of BJ and Jeff Seaman. Also survived by many relatives and dear friends. Ed proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, bon fires, cold beer and spending time with friends and family. Friends will be received from 10 AM - 12 Noon on Friday, January 29 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon. Interment with military honors, Edwardsville Cemetery, Harlan Twp, OH. Rev. Paul Crisp will be the minister for Ed's services.
