Edna Marie Striker, age 86, born May 5, 1938, in Orlando, Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Passed away Tuesday, October 8, peacefully at her daughter's home after a long battle with Dementia and a terrible fall at her assisted living home. She was a resident of Goshen Ohio, with neighbors who always watched out for her. Formally residing with her husband and children in Midvale and Uhrichsville, Ohio.

Preceded in death by husband, James Edward Striker (Bud), Parents, Liza and Henry Boles, Son, Jerry Striker, Brothers, Billy Boles, Roland Boles, and Larry Boles.

Survived by Son, Curtis Striker of Goshen Ohio, Daughter, Della Cook (Victor) of Goshen, Ohio, Sister Barbara Eaton (Bob) of Florence Kentucky, Brothers John Henry Boles (Bud) of Ontario, California, Bruce Boles of Covington Kentucky, Grandchildren Crissena Burdine (Rusty), Cory Brooker (Anna), Jennifer Striker(Reiko), James Striker(Chloe), Kelsey Cook and other Grandchildren and several great Grandchildren, Lauren Burdine, Ethan Burdine, Adalynn Brooker, Trinden Brooker, Charity Striker, Joy Striker, James Striker Jr., Jeremiah Striker, Joseph Striker, Carvone Striker, Valencia Striker, Santana Striker, William Striker, Troyana Striker and several others, all who she adored.

Edna worked her whole life in retail, department stores and even manufacturing, all while caring for her husband Jim who, just shortly after they were married on September 26, 1959, fell from a roof and the result was he never walked again, paralyzed from the waist down. She cared for him, worked a job and they raised 3 children. She and her husband Jim always seen to it that no-one went without. Oftentimes, showing up at someone's door with a bag of groceries and other items they may need. Their door was always open. She loved red roses, playing bingo, going to the casino and horse races. Her favorite thing was playing the lottery.

Friends will be received from 6 PM - 8 PM on Tuesday, October 15 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 16. Pastor Tanner Schulte officiating.

Interment will take place at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
