Edna Mae Strange, 77, of Blanchester, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2019, surrounded by her family. Born on July 15, 1942 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, daughter of Ernest and Swanie (nee Howard) Blanton. She was the beloved mother of Vickie Stange, Carolyn (Kenny) Allen, Bill (Kristy) Strange, and Dennis (Tracy) Strange; loving grandmother of Amy, Tracy, Donnie, Aleck, Brenan, and Heather; great-grandmother of nine; and step-grandmother of five; dear sister of Emma Coulter, Mary Iker, Brack Blanton, and Willie Blanton. Along with her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Blanton, Arguster Blanton, and Fonzie Blanton. Edna was a faithful woman of God. She loved the Lord and her family more than anything. She happily dedicated her life to making sure that her children and grandchildren were loved and cared for. She had a kind heart and gentle spirit and will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
