Edith Marie Spooner (Eydie Spooner) has gone to join her earthly parents, Henry and Edith Spooner. Eydie Spooner was born in Cincinnati Ohio on April 28, 1959. She was adopted into the loving home of Henry and Edith Spooner and spent her years growing up in a house on Seven Gables Rd. in Symmes Township, Hamilton County, Ohio. She is survived by a brother, John Spooner, who resides in Hickory, North Carolina. Eydie was a well-loved and happy girl who sincerely loved all of her nieces, nephews,

aunts, uncles and many cousins. She would cherish information about them and the occasional opportunities she had to visit with them personally or through video. Eydie loved being with friends and family and was always a very social person who easily made friends. She loved butterflies and, prior to moving to an extended care facility, had her apartment decorated with them. She would never miss an opportunity to ask about family and was very good at remembering everyone's birthdate and other information. Eydie also liked to read her children's books and watch videos and television shows that she knew from her childhood. Eydie was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints attending during her childhood years at the Norwood building and then later in the Montgomery, Ohio Ward. She had many friends through the church and her life primarily revolved around her earthly and her church-family. She will be greatly missed, but we know that she missed her parents dearly and is enjoying a happy reunion with them.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 5 from 1-2 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will follow at 2 PM.
