Dr. John Francis Clement, MD, of Loveland passed away peacefully on November 5th surrounded by loved ones. Husband of Sue Carol Stuart. Father of two sons, and Grandfather to five grandchildren. John Clement was born on May 5, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Dr. Frank and Marguerite (Angold) Clement and grew up in Dillonvale, Ohio. While in high school he met Sue, the love of his life. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War era, Dr. Clement returned to Cincinnati and completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University. He and Sue were married in 1971 in Cincinnati and he graduated from Ohio State Medical School in 1973. He interned at Williamsport Hospital in Pennsylvania where many of his fellow residents became his lifelong friends. He was a trusted family physician in Montgomery for more than 40 years with a dedicated and loyal staff of nurses and administrators.
Dr. Clement leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. With an adventurous spirit and an unparalleled love for life, Dr. John found joy in making cherished memories with family and friends. A student of history, art and politics, John was a voracious reader and traveler whose adventures took him near and far. Dr. Clement was gregarious and generous and kind, with his keen intellect only matched by his desire to help others. He made everyone feel special by offering a kind word, gesture or gift. He will be sorely missed by all.
He was an active member of the Cincinnati Academy of Medicine and practiced on the medical staff of Bethesda North Hospital
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Sue (Stuart) Clement, his two sons: Francis Patrick (Mary) Clement, Valdosta, GA and John Stuart (Jennifer Sotsky) Clement, New York, NY and his five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Thomas Clement. He is survived by his siblings Pamela Anne (Bruce) Voorhees, Indian Hill, OH, Mark Christopher (Mary) Clement, Cincinnati, OH, Stephen Dale (Susan) Clement, Minneapolis, MN, Joseph Patrick (Julie) Clement, Longmont, CO, Deborah Marie (Andrew) Voss, Kenwood, OH, Rebecca (Victor) Dupre, Mason, OH, Timothy Robert (Lisa) Clement, Cleveland, OH and Bruce Gregory Clement, Blue Ash, OH.

Visitation will be held from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. Sunday, November 12th at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban Church on Monday, November 13th at 10:30 A.M.
