Beloved husband of Charlotte (nee Fowler) Bishop. Loving father of Forrest "Woody" Bishop, Michelle (James) Nelson and Patricia (Reed) Leonard. Cherished grandfather of Robert, Katharine and Aaron Nelson, and Avery and Natalie Leonard. Brother of the late Lester Bishop. Also survived by three nieces and one nephew. Receiving his doctorate from MIT in 1955, He was a recognized, distinguished alum from the University of Cincinnati and President of Iron and Steel Society and Vice President of Altech Steel Company in Watervliet, NY.
