Dr. Earl R. Jackson of Milford, OH was born August 18, 1932 to Henry and Ethel Harris and passed away October 23, 2020 at the age of 88. He was the founding Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Milford, where he Pastored for over 60 years. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Irma (nee Peters) Jackson; children, Linda (Rick) Slone and Vicki Harkins; grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Slone, Kyle Slone, David (Sarah) Slone, Daniel Slone, Glenn (Margaret) Harkins, Tracy (Jason) Fuller, Sean (Whitney) Harkins and Joshua Harkins; 20 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; a sister, Emma (Don) Gentry; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an Angel Baby, Jennifer Jackson; brothers, Elmer Jackson, Estel Jackson and George Jackson; a sister, Dollie (nee Jackson) Burk. Friends will be received from 7-9 PM on Thursday October 29, 2020 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28 Goshen, OH 45122. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday October 30, 2020 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1123 St. Rt. 28 Milford, OH 45150, where friends will also be received from 10 AM until time of service. Interment will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 686 Mt. Moriah Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45245 following funeral services.
