Douglas Daniel Wenninger, 67, of Fayetteville, Ohio, passed away on December 3, 2025. Born on January 17, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Douglas lived a life marked by dedication to his craft and quiet strength.

For 48 years, Douglas worked as a fabricator and welder at Ellis & Watts, where he built not only structures but also a reputation for being loyal, hardworking, and reliable. His commitment to his profession was unwavering—a reflection of the pride he took in doing things right and doing them well.

Douglas had a deep appreciation for the things that brought him joy and comfort. He enjoyed watching golf and racing, often finding peace in the rhythm of the game or the roar of engines. During the holiday season, he could be found enjoying Hallmark Christmas movies, drawn to their warmth and simplicity. A fan of classic cars and Marvel movies alike, Douglas appreciated both timeless craftsmanship and modern storytelling. Traveling was also among his passions—experiences that allowed him to connect with the world on his own terms.

Though private by nature—a true lone wolf—Douglas held deep pride in his family. He is survived by his son Jeremy; daughter-in-law Melissa; grandchildren Jeremiah, Haley, and Izabella; father Ronald; sister Colleen; brother David; sister Connie; and brother Dwayne. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Jane.

A man of few words but steadfast presence, Douglas leaves behind a legacy of quiet resilience and enduring devotion. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
