Douglas Ray Switzer of Hillsboro. Beloved husband of the late Renee (nee Vest) Switzer. Loving father of Catrina Hester. Proud grandfather of Dakota Hester. Great grandfather of Evelyn Loraine Kelly-Switzer. Dear brother-in-law of Madge Patrick. Passed away December 10, 2021 at the age of 70. Doug proudly served in the US Air Force for 18 years. He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed RC cards, working on vehicles, and playing video games as therapy. He will be greatly missed by his dog, Rosebud. Family and friends will be received Thursday, March 3 from 11 AM - 12 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will follow at 12 PM. Graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, March 7 at 11 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason.
