Dorthy Jean Campbell was born May 3, 1930 to Virgil W. and Maggie (nee Hill) Doughman and passed on October 2, 2015 at the age of 85. She was married to the late Shafter for 48 years. She was an avid gardener, had a love for horses and was devoted to her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Jeff) Hodges and Denise (Randy) Faulkner; grandchildren, Rodney (Ivy) Hodges, Natasha (Reed Strong) Hodges and Zachary (Jessica) Faulkner; great grandchildren Jessica (Curt Rice) Hodges, Sage and Sawyer Strong, Jacob and Brooklyn Faulkner; sisters, Doris McShane, Howard Doughman and Peggy Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Charles Doughman, Donald Doughman and sister, Alice Montgomery. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday October 6, 2015 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28 Goshen, OH 45122, where friends will be received from 11 AM until time of service.
