Dorothy Mae Hughes, 70, of Blanchester, Ohio, died peacefully at her home on September 24, 2016. She was the loving mother of Tina Marie Hughes and Lucinda Rene (Joseph) Hargraves; proud grandmother of Aaron Michael Allessi; dear sister of Dora Alley and Donald Barnett; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hughes; Parents, Mance and Lucy Mae Barnett; siblings, Berti Patrick, Mance Barnett, Jr., Homie McFarland, and Maurice Barnett. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
