Dorothy Jane Knittel, 85, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away on August 15, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved mother of Tommy (Rintha) Knittel, Cindy (Tom) Barker, Kaye (James) Waycaster, and Chris Knittel; loving grandmother of Sasha (Josh) Baxter, Megan Knittel, David (Grace) Barker, Chelsea (Cody) Peters, Joe Haas, Eric (Ally) Haas; proud great-grandmother of Zoe Baxter, Sadie Trent, Riley Peters, Noah Peters, Elaine Haas and Kiley Barker; dear sister of Roberta (Don) Henning; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Tom E. Knittel; parents, Joseph and Ann (nee Kelly) Bott; sisters, Joann Reed and Sue Brubach. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
