Dorothy "Dottie" Kehl (nee Dwenger), of Loveland, formerly of Dayton. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Kehl. Loving mother of Dr. David Kehl, Connie (Kehl) Rotterman, Lynn (Kehl) Fenton and Mary Jo (Kehl) Barkaszi. Cherished grandmother of Dori Kehl, Will Kehl, Becky (Rotterman) Brinck, Catie (Rotterman) Rudisell, Dr. Scott Rotterman, Anna (Rotterman) Hopkins, Kaliegh Barkaszi and Arek Barkaszi. Proud GiGi to 8 great-grandchildren. Passed away October 27, 2025, at the age of 95.

Dottie was born in Dayton, Ohio, in 1930 and was a lifelong member of the community, graduating from Julieanne High School before attending the University of Dayton (UD). It was at UD where she met the love of her life, Bill Kehl, whom she later married on August 21st, 1952.

A devoted matriarch, Dottie dedicated her life wholeheartedly to her family. Her greatest joy was creating a loving home and nurturing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, with whom she shared an active and fulfilling life.

Beyond her commitment to family, Dottie had a lifelong passion for horses and farm life. She was an avid enthusiast of horse racing and, alongside her husband Bill, was a proud owner of racehorses. This shared passion was a significant part of her vibrant life that was passed down to her children and grandchildren. Dottie's warmth, dedication, and active spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 3 from 9:45 - 10:15 AM at St. Columban Church, 894 Oakland Rd., Loveland, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
