Dorothy "Dottie" T. (nee Thiemann) Cook of Milford, OH., went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2024, at the age of 89. Dottie was born on November 9, 1935, in Norwood, OH to William and Elizabeth Thiemann.

She is survived by three daughters: Donna (John) Getzendanner, Denise (John) Daggett and Darlene (Tim) McEwan; one son: Douglas Cook; six grandchildren: John Scott (Mandy) Getzendanner, Jennifer Getzendanner, Taylor (Aaron) Wendel, Jacob Daggett, Daniel McEwan and Nicholas McEwan; Five great-grandchildren and one on the way: Russell Cunningham, Austin Getzendanner, Kaylynn Getzendanner, Ivy Wendel and Kyle Getzendanner; one brother: James Thiemann; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cook: three brothers: William Thiemann Jr., Edward Thiemann, and Donald Thiemann; two sisters: Betty Hedding and Helen Buller.

Dottie graduated in 1953 from Regina High School. She enjoyed bowling and bridge. Dottie was involved in many activities at St. Columban School and Church.

Friends will be received from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM on Friday, January 3, 2025, at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Rd., Loveland, OH., where A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM. Fr. Larry Tensi presiding.

Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery, OH.
