Dorathy Eleanor Thompson (nee Sprague) passed peacefully after a seventeen year long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. She died on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home in Wayesville, OH at eighty-eight years old. Dorathy was born on April 29, 1923 to Maurice and Mildred Sprague in Beloit, Wisconsin. On March 30, 1946 Dorathy married Robert D. Thompson in Rockton, Illinois at the Old Stone Church. In 2011 Dorathy and Bob celebrated sixty-five years of marriage. Dorathy with an 'A' after her Aunt Dora, loved the flowers and trees. It was one of her most cherished hobbies along with knitting some of the most beautiful sweaters in the world. Dorathy loved the out-of-doors and was a dedicated supporter of the World Dorathy was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Marian Quade, Maurice 'Bud' (Betty) Sprague, Granddaughter Melinda Teadt, nephew Joe Quade and a grandnephew. Dorathy is survived by her husband, Bob, daughters Marykay (Kim) Gaffey of Lebano Dorathy and Bob worked hard to build their dream home come true on Lathers road in Beloit. It was their Valhalla. Dorathy loved her grandchildren and could tell anyone about each one of them, their gifts and their personal senses of humor. She was an Dearest Mom, We love you and miss you. We will find you daily in our hearts.
