Loving mother of Lana Lester, Karl Lester (Penny), Sharon Pierce (Michael) and Wally Lester (Kim). Proud grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 8. Dear sister of Mary Jane Elswick and the late Elbert Vanderpool, Jesse J. Vanderpool, Clarence Vanderpool, Riley Vanderpool, Susan Vanderpool and Norma Jean Vanderpool. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Long-standing and faithful member of Living Word Missionary Baptist Church. Passed away September 14, 2016 at the age of 80.
