Donna Sue Wells (nee McGuffey), 75, of Lebanon, Ohio went peaceably to be with the Lord on July 3, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was the Beloved wife of 60 years to Phillip D. Wells, Loving mother of Tammy (Durrell) Petrey, Duane Wells, the late Wendy Yost and Andrea (Kevin) Henson. Beloved daughter of the late Manford and Linda (nee-Creech) McGuffey. The Dear Sister of the late Gloria (Earl) Murphy, Earl (Evelyn) McGuffey, Shirley Joyce (Larry) Brandenburg, Kathy (Dave) Stephens and Mark (Linda) McGuffey. Proud Grandmother of Darrell (Danielle) Petrey, Dustin Petrey, Heather Petrey, Alex Brewer, Andrew Brewer, Ashlyn Brewer, Nicholas Yost, Amanda Yost and Austin Wells. Cherished Great Grandmother of Sydney, Matthew, Karlee, Landon, Maddie, Marley, Josh and Mayzie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the Mother-In-Law of the late Jeff Brewer. Donna was saved and baptized at First Baptist Church of South Lebanon where she was a faithful member. Over the years she participated in several ministries including the One Eighty Ministries that fed and clothed people in the City of Lebanon. She also participated in a Pillow Ministry at Heritage Baptist Church where she made and distributed special pillows to Arrow Springs Hospital. She had a very giving heart and a great love for helping others. Friends will be received on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5-8pm at First Baptist Church South Lebanon, 505 Mason Rd, South Lebanon, OH 45065. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the church with Pastor, Dave Frasure and Pastor Earl McGuffey (brother of Donna) officiating the service. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio immediately following the service. Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati, 7625 Camargo Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45243.
