RUTHER, Donna Jean (Newsom), born on June 30, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH, passed away on December 12, 2024, at home, surrounded by family. Beloved mother of Kevin (Brooke) Ruther and Adam (Natalie) Ruther; grandmother of Emily, Maddie, and Brynn; sister of Paula (David) Kennedy. Preceded in death by parents Louise (Wayman) and Donald Newsom.

Donna was a devoted member of Whitewater Crossing Christian Church, living her faith through service. She never met a stranger and turned casual encounters into lifelong friendships. Many of her close friends, some spanning over 50 years, became like family. Donna was a source of positivity and strength, creating joyful memories with loved ones and seeking adventure and connection even in her final months.
