Donna D. (nee Bennett) Poynter of Goshen, OH, went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on March 29, 2026, at the age of 64. Donna was born on January 30, 1962, in Newport, KY. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Rev. Jeff Poynter, loving son Tim and daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Lance), and 9 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Doug, and sisters Bernice, Patricia, Melonie (Ken), and brother-in-law of Jerry (Tina) Poynter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. 

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Ovie Cecil Bennett and Gracie (nee Powell) Bennett, brother, Dave and sister, Brenda. 

Donna was a caregiver to many over the years, never asking anything in return. Donna was a Christian and was always helping in a church wherever she was needed. 

Friends will be received from 11 AM to 12 Noon on Friday, April 3 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where homegoing services will begin at 12 Noon on Friday. Pastor John Henson officiating. 

The interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford, OH. 

In lieu of flowers, Donna wanted memorial donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1640, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Pancreas Care Center, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3026
