IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donald S.
Stewart
January 22, 1955 – July 31, 2024
Donald Stephen Stewart, a cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy. He was the beloved husband of the late Michelle Stewart (née Beckum) and a proud father to Megan (Joe) Stewart-Sicking, Matthew (Naomi) Stewart, Michael Stewart, Brian (Ashley) Stewart, and Alee Stewart.
Donald was a devoted grandfather to Sam, Simon, Carter, Cohen, Finley, Ollie, Layla, Lilian, Landon, Gabriel, and Elijah, who all brought immense pride and happiness into his life. He was the son of the late Joseph and Edna Stewart and the loving brother of the late Mary Meyer, Tom Stewart, and Ed Stewart. He was a beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was also a dear son-in-law to Jacqueline and the late Lee Beckum and a supportive brother-in-law to Steve (Mary) Beckum and Janice (Jim) Figgins.
Donald lived a life full of passion and enthusiasm for the outdoors. He found great joy in riding his motorcycle, camping at Brush Creek Campground with friends, bowling, cycling on the bike trail, and working out. His love for life extended to his grandkids, whom he passionately supported at their sporting events, always cheering them on with unwavering pride.
He will always be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his dedication to his family, and his zest for life. Donald's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held to honor Donald's life and legacy on Sunday, August 11th from 1:00-2:30pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Avenue, Loveland, with a memorial service at 2:30pm. Following the memorial service, a reception will be held at The Monkey Bar and Grille to celebrate Donald. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude or the YMCA in Donald's memory.
Donald's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return.
