Donald Jordon of Loveland. Beloved husband of the late Carole Jordon. Loving father of CAPT (ret), US Navy, Stephen (Elena) Jordon, Deborah Jordon and the late Michael Jordon. Proud grandfather of William, Zachary, Samuel and the late Emma Jordon. Dear brother-in-law of Joan Veldhuizen. Died November 18 at age 82. Graduate of Kansas State University and brother in the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years and distinguished himself as a pilot and officer. Lt. Col Jordon was credited with numerous rescues while serving as the Commander of a 38th ARRS HH-43B Huskie helicopter rescue detachment in Tan Son Nhut, Viet Nam and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Airman's Medal and Bronze Star during his combat tour. After his Air Force career, he worked for the Parsons Corporation as a Contract Administrator in Washington, DC and Cincinnati, Ohio.
