Donald "Donnie" Ray Hughes, 71, went to be with the Lord in Heaven on February 27, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 29, 1950. Donald graduated from Blanchester High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Cedarville College. Later, he went on to Graduate from Grand Rapids Seminary where he received a Master's in theology and followed the call to ministry. Donald was a retired Pastor from Countyline Baptist Church where strengthened the spirit of his community through ministry and action. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Doris Jean Hughes; two daughters, Tracy Lynn Hughes and Amy Kaye Hughes; two brothers and four sisters. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Coletta (nee Chamberlin) Hughes; his siblings David Hughes, Deborah (Kenneth) Howard, and Teresa Spurlock; his children Lisa (Don) Hughes-Holt, and Christopher (Theresa) Hughes; and his grandchildren Nathaniel Holt, Brady Holt, Layla Hughes, Emmersyn Hughes, Ryder Hughes, and Laney Hughes. Visiting hours will be held 10am-12pm followed immediately by the funeral service on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester Ohio. The service will be officiated by Kenneth Howard. Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
