Donald J. Hetzer, age 86, of Loveland. Beloved husband of 66 years to Lois (nee Giesy) Hetzer. Loving father of Lori A. (Paul) McCullough and Donald K. (Cara) Hetzer. Proud Papy of Kelly (Dom), Tim (Emily), Brenna (Troy), Erin (Chris), Rachael, Jennifer (Cody), Donald "Joe," Jacob (Shelby), and eight great grandchildren. Son of the late Anthony and Martha Hetzer. Dear brother of Doris, Steve, and the late Tony and Bob. Passed away October 3, 2026.

Don was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and an active member of Faith Bible Church. He made a special effort to visit and encourage those who were unable to attend church, always caring for others and making sure they knew they were remembered.

In his free time, Don loved staying busy, whether working in his yard or enjoying his passion for woodworking. He loved his dogs dearly, but nothing compared to the love he had for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 17 from 9:30 - 11 AM at Faith Bible Church, 8130 East Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
