Donald Archie Emerson, 81, of Fayetteville, Ohio, passed away on July 3, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Mary Anne Emerson; cherished father of Beverly Anne Rider, Donald Raymond Emerson, and David (Stacy) Emerson; loving grandfather of Mackinzie (Drew) Miller; proud great-grandfather of Myra Jane Surritt; dear brother-in-law of Bobbie Jean Haven; uncle of Brenda Shoupe-Adamo.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Halford and Julia Emerson; son, Mark Thomas Emerson; sisters, Jean Watson, Evon Culp, and Norma Sue Emerson; brother, Tom Kenly Emerson; grandparents, Tom and Jenny Emerson.

A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service.
