Donald Eugene Irwin Sr., 93 of Goshen, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 16, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Velma Lois (nee Wallace) Irwin; loving father of Donald Irwin Jr., Larry (Candy) Irwin, Steven (Joy) Irwin and Amy Irwin; proud grandfather of Scott (Kate) Irwin, Joshua (Rachael) Irwin, Michaela Irwin, Landon Irwin, Matilyn Irwin, Kyle Rose and Dustin Rose; great-grandfather of Avery, Jonah, Ryker, Ramsey, Rowen, Aiden and Carson; dear brother of Iola Butler and Raymond (Betty Sue) Irwin; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Donald was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Lee Irwin; parents, Archie Byron and Ethel Agnes (nee Hill) Irwin; brothers, Elbert Irwin and Robert Irwin; sisters, Dorothy Hambly, Evelyn McHenry and Mildred Bailey. Friends will be received from 6 PM - 8 PM on Wednesday, December 19 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Dr., Loveland. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 20 at Goshen United Methodist Church, 6710 Goshen Rd., Goshen, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment with military honors will take place at Goshen Cemetery, Goshen, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Goshen United Methodist Church, 6710 Goshen Rd., Goshen, Ohio 45122. Rev. Steven W. Irwin will be the minister for his father's services.
