Don McIntyre of Loveland, OH, passed away April 25, 2025, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Carmen McIntyre (nee Ayala). Devoted father of Michelle Horan and the late Christopher McIntyre. Cherished grandfather of Christie Horan and Sean Horan. Caring brother of Beth Fitzgerald and the late Jeanne Voxnaes.

Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Don enjoyed a 31-year career at General Electric in Evendale, making Ohio home for he and his family. After GE, Don enjoyed retirement by having lunch with friends, playing golf, and gathering with family. He and Carmen also found great joy in supporting their grandchildren in all their high school, college, and professional activities and achievements, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer them on.

A longtime member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (over 30 years), Don also enjoyed many years with Carmen at Belwood Country Club. There, he volunteered for the weekly jackpot drawing and spent quality time golfing and socializing with friends.

Don died peacefully at home with his loving family around him. Nothing can replace his jovial nature and incredible ability to bring people together. He will be greatly missed by all.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Don will be held on May 20, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 944 East U.S. 22 & 3 Morrow, Ohio 45152. Donations in Don's memory may be directed to St. Philip the Apostle Church .
