Donald L. Brandenburg of Goshen, OH went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2023. Donald was born on February 16, 1939, in Beattyville, KY.

Beloved husband of Carolla (nee Bowman) Brandenburg for 62 yrs. Loving father of Sherry (Danny) Callahan, Donald (Vernie) Brandenburg Jr., and Marilyn (Greg) Callahan. Caring grandfather of Brandon Cruey, Bryan Callahan, Zackery Brandenburg, Nicholas (Maeghan) Brandenburg, Haven Brandenburg, Quinn Callahan, and Riley Callahan. Dear brother of Ann Richardson, Tim Brandenburg, and the late Madeline Brandenburg, Susie Brandenburg, Sylvia Ponder, Bill Brandenburg, Harold Brandenburg, Mae Wooten, Wilma Smith, and Mary Brandenburg. Cherished son of the late Carlos and Golda (nee Kendrick) Brandenburg.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends.

Don proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of South Lebanon First Church of God.

Friends will be received from 12:30-1:30 pm on Thursday, November 2 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin a 1:30 pm on Thursday. Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
