Dolores Jean (nee VonDrasek) Janis of Melbourne, FL., went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2025, at the age of 84. Dolores was born on February 28, 1941, in Chicago, IL. To Edward and Evelyn VonDrasek.

She was the beloved wife of 62 years to Donald G. Janis, loving mother of Douglas (Kimberly) Janis, Diane (Jerome) McNealy, Denis (Andrea Ramsey) Janis and the late David Janis, caring daughter-in-law of Dawn Janis, proud grandmother of Jack McNealy, Sara (Ben) Bernard, Edward, Tyler, John and Sam McNealy, dear great-grandmother of four, devoted sister of Ronald (Alina) VonDrasek and Shirley (Dieter) Schneider. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.

Dolores enjoyed her retirement staying active in Florida with her husband. Per the wishes of Dolores there will be no services.
