Diana Carol Castillo passed away on June 18, 2026 in Ohio, at the age of 77. She was born on August 15, 1948 to Cruz and Avalina Guerrero. Diana was the beloved wife of over 60 years to Isidro Castillo. She was the loving mother of Michelle (Ken) Decker, Vanessa (Matthew) Kolve, and Christopher (Kandice) Castillo. Diana's cherished treasures were her ten grands: Amanda (TJ) Fetters, Kyle Decker, Karter (Alyssa) Decker, Kade Mitchell Decker, Isabel (Tommy) Carey, Elena and Wyatt Wetzell, Abigail, Aidan, and Ainsley Castillo. She was also the proud great grandmother of Isla Diana and Rhys Fetters. Siblings she grew up with and helped nurture as the eldest child were Valentina Todd, Armando Ramirez, Sarita Blair, Chris (Amy) Guerrero, Lisa and Eddie Cruz Guerrero, Donna Smith, and the late Gilbert Guerrero, Sylvia Coton, and Roseanne Guerrero. She is also survived by so many nieces and nephews that she called and treated like her sons and daughters. Diana will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, and devotion to her family especially her ten grands. Upon passing, she had every card, letter, or picture that anyone ever gave or sent her. As we remember Diana, we would encourage anyone that knew Diana to send a card or write a letter to someone who plays a vital role in their life just as Diana did for her family. We will definitely miss her home-cooked meals and her homemade, warm tortillas. 

A Celebration of Life and funeral mass will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Diana to St. Mary's Catholic School in Sterling, IL, St. Andrew Catholic School in Rock Falls, IL, or Hospice of Cincinnati.
