Delois “Jean” Ebberts Penrod, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 66.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Allison Embry; her mother and stepfather, Dolores Jean King and James L. King; her first husband, Steven Ebberts; and many beloved fur babies who held a special place in her heart.

Jean leaves behind her former husband, Randy Penrod; her daughter, Jasmine Penrod; her treasured grandchildren, Ryder Penrod, Reece Waugh, Roy Waugh, and Azienna Menento; her siblings, James King and Jenny King; siblings John Embry, stepbrother David King and stepsister Kathy Dobis; a host of nieces and nephews; her beloved fur babies; and her dear friend and devoted caretaker, Erin Brazley-Smith.

Family and friends will be received Friday, August 7, 2026, from 11 AM to 12 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Avenue, Loveland, OH 45140, where a service for Jean will begin at 12 PM. Private Interment will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
