Della Eugenia (née Meder) Eichhorn of Goshen, Ohio, passed away on October 20, 2026. She was born on October 28, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Adolph and Margaret Catherine (née Doll) Meder.

Della was the beloved wife of the late Harland “Sonny” Richard Charles Eichhorn Sr., with whom she shared 68 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Della (the late Jay) Houstin, Harland (the late Myrna) Eichhorn Jr., Danny (Becky) Eichhorn, Eddie (Denise) Eichhorn, Cathie Bricking, Dianna (John) Bauer, and Jessica (Luke) Fetter. She was the proud grandmother of 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Della was the dear sister of Charles (Pan) Meder, Margaret “Sis” (Darry) Nipper, Bud (Gloria) Meder, and Joe (Kathy) Meder, and the late Rose Wheeler, Marian Hurley, and Shirley Wheeler. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Della loved spending time with her grandchildren and being outdoors, especially working in her gardens. She had been a member of St. Columban Parish since 1977.

Friends will be received on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Road, Loveland, Ohio, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio.
