Deborah "Debbie" Ellen (nee Whitney) Turner of Batavia, OH., passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 72. Debbie was born on April 5, 1953, in Mariemont, OH. to Howard and Norma Whitney.

Debbie received her Bachelor of Nursing from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing. She enjoyed archery at Golden Hawks Archery Club where she was the secretary for many years. She also was an avid hunter. She was passionate about helping people with her nursing career but also thoroughly enjoyed volunteering her time with various animal rescues, helping with cats, dogs and horses. Most recently she enjoyed watching her grandchildren with their hobbies and sports.

Debbie is survived by her loving son, Chris (Jessica) Turner, stepson, Jerry Turner III, stepdaughter, Brandi (Zach) Helms, six grandchildren, Gabby Turner, Lucas Turner, Bryce Turner, Brayden McGlone, Kelton McGlone and Bristol Helms, three sisters, Sandi Long, Barbara (Tom) Campbell and Connie (David) Boepple, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Norma (nee Burdette) Whitney.

Friends will be received from 6 PM to 7 PM on Friday, April 11 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where a memorial service will begin at 7 PM on Friday. Pastor Phil Hopper officiating.
