Dean Andrew Crofoot, born February 1, 1957, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026.

Dean was a devoted father to Megan (Brandon) Bolin and Skye (Omar El Khoury), and a proud grandfather to Leo Bolin and Gideon El Khoury. He is also survived by his loving sisters: Kathy (Ed) Wickline, Nancy (Tom) McGuigan and Susie (Larry) Ignash, his dear friend Donna Coen, along with several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.He was preceded in death by his parents, Verna and Frank Crofoot.

Dean will be remembered for his love of cooking, especially his prize-winning BBQ sauce that brought people together and left a lasting impression on all who tasted it. He had a deep love for football and enjoyed sharing stories that will live on through those who knew and loved him.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate team at Hospice of Cincinnati and the staff at Otterbein Loveland for their continuous support, care, and kindness during this time.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held at this time. The family will gather privately for a memorial at a later date.

His presence, humor, and storytelling will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
