David Michael Splawinski, beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Milford, Ohio on May 4, 2020.
Born in Washington, DC, on January 10, 1960, son of Edward and Darlene (Johnson) Splawinski. David graduated from Milford High School in 1978 and was the owner and operator of BTU Heating and Cooling. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and conservationist.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Mark and Pam Splawinski, Rick and Mary Splawinski, Nancy and Doug Chandler, and Kathy and Dave Becker; cousins George and Lisa Kovach; eleven nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 12 at 10:00 am for immediate family members and close friends (attendance limited due to coronavirus restrictions).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
David was known for his kind and gentle heart, quick wit and generous disposition, and was generally regarded as the funniest member of the family. He was loved and admired by his brothers and sisters, siblings in law and nieces and nephews; his lifelong friendships were cherished by those close to him.
