David Thomas Sheeran entered the world on November 27, 1984, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and left it far too soon on August 3, 2026.

David grew up in Pleasant Ridge, and much of his childhood revolved around sports. Whether it was basketball, hockey, soccer, or baseball, he proved himself to be a natural athlete. Baseball eventually became his focus, and in 2003 he helped lead Purcell Marian to a state championship and the Cincinnati Force to a National Championship. Long after his playing days, he remained a devoted fan of the Reds, Bearcats, and Musketeers.

After graduating from Xavier University, David worked briefly in real estate for Sibcy Cline as well as in financial services for Fidelity before he quickly realized that his true passion and talent lay in music. Leaving the traditional career path behind, he began pursuing music production, a hobby he'd been honing since his teenage years. As an independent music producer, David created beats that reached artists and audiences across the country and beyond. He was always seeking ways to create something, and recently, he had taken up drawing and photography.

Like a lot of artists, David was not interested in convention, but had his own way of seeing things, and he stayed true to it. He was unafraid to push boundaries the way artists often do. He didn’t put on airs; what you saw was what you got with David. He was a deep thinker, a man of few words who valued his solitude, and found solace in nature.

David was also an advocate for making the world a better place. He spoke out boldly for animal rights and justice for all. Though not always understood, he stayed true to his beliefs.

David leaves behind his parents, Bob Sheeran and Terry (nee Bell) Sheeran; his sister, Maria (Jordi) Planell; and his nephew, Mateo. He is also survived by a wide circle of extended family and friends, who will carry his memory with them.

David is preceded in death by his loving cat of 16 years, Wiggles.

Our family will never feel whole without David, but we hold onto the promise that we'll be together again someday. And until that day comes, we'll keep him close every day, in everything we do.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for the family at the Community of the Good Shepherd. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
