David “Dave” W. Orr of Loveland, OH, passed away October 25, 2026, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Gerri Orr. Devoted father of Cheryl (Joseph) Heery, David (Angie) Orr II, Mary (Larry) East Coste, and Derek (Jen) Orr. Proud grandfather of Rachel (Jason) Highfield, Trevor Heery, David Orr III, Emily Orr, Kaitlyn Orr, Blake (Krista) Vize, Bryson Vize, Victoria Vize, Desmond Orr, Delaney Orr, and Brooke (Nick) Mowery. Loving great-grandfather of Henry Highfield, Evielyn Highfield, Linleigh McClanahan, Rayleigh Vize, Everleigh Vize, Luca Petrey, and Carter Petrey. Caring brother of Leroy Orr, Doris Bubnis, Rebecca Ferguson, Rick Orr, and the late Ethyl Denig and Elizabeth Wilson.

Dave was a generous, caring man who was deeply devoted to his family. He gave generously to many charitable causes, especially those that supported children in need. His selfless nature extended to helping others in meaningful ways, including serving as the legal guardian of an individual with disabilities.

Dave had a strong work ethic and was a successful business owner. He founded and operated Orr’s Auto Body for more than 55 years, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to his work. An avid drag racer, Dave was involved in racing for most of his life and proudly shared his passion for the sport with his family.

Dave will be remembered for his generosity, his dedication to family, and the many lives he touched throughout his life.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, October 31, from 9 AM - 11:30 AM, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Avenue, Loveland, OH 45140, where a service for David will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will be held privately.
