David was a proud member of the Abate Motorcycle Club for many years and was the former owner of Hawg Mart where he happily worked on motorcycles and spent time with friends. He formed several wonderful lifelong friendships while working at Wayne Works for many years as well. David was an avid traveler and adventurer, always seeking new experiences and made lasting friendships everywhere he went, from Arizona, to Texas, New York to Florida, and of course, throughout Indiana and Ohio. He loved living life to the fullest.
David is survived by his fiance, Therese Kennedy; his daughter, Angela (Josh) Smith; his sister, Kathie (Joe) Maltman; his step-daughter, Amanda (Tony) Stamm; his grandchildren, Sydney Owens, River Smith, and Olivia Smith; his step-grandchildren, Mariah Simpson and Colton Simpson; his nieces, Brandi (Bill) O'Neil and Hollie (Chris) Martin, and grandnieces, Jordan Martin, and Riley O'Neil.
