David John Bertoli of Loveland, OH, sadly left us on February 8, 2023 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Dave was born September 2, 1960 to John and Doris Bertoli. Dave grew up in Kenwood, OH, graduated from Madeira High School in 1978 and the University of Cincinnati in 1982 with majors in both Marketing and Business Management. After college, he went to work for the Stouffer Corporation and managed James Tavern Restaurant in Blue Ash. In 1984, after meeting his mentor Russ Wiles, he pivoted to the Ohio Valley Wine Company where he had a 34 year career in the Adult Beverage industry. Through this career, Dave had the great fortune to travel the world buying and sampling wines and liquors from Italy, France, Ireland, Chile and Argentina. Dave met his wife, Lisa, through a work dinner and they were married in July of 2003 settling down in Loveland.

Dave had many loves in his life – one of which was his yard! He loved to mow, trim and keep the edges neat and tidy. He also loved to grocery shop. Nothing gave him more joy than hunting for coupons to find a great deal. As logic flows, Dave also loved to cook and when in good health his pleasure was to provide and share his homemade recipes. But, above all, Dave loved his family – and especially watching son Will play basketball, soccer and baseball.

Dave is survived by his wife Lisa, sons Jonathon (18) and William (16), his twin brother Peter, brother Jack (Kathy), sisters Fran and Nancy (Rich), and many loving nieces and nephews.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held in Dave's home on February 18th.
