Harlen David "Dave" Jones of Goshen, OH, passed peacefully on March 6, 2024 at the age of 71. David was born on March 2, 1953, in Maineville, OH, to the late Raymond and Flora Mabel (nee Marcum) Jones.

Cherished husband of the late Margaret Cathaline (nee Glover) Jones for 43 yrs. Proud father of Sandra, Jesse, Howard Keith, Jeff, Shayne, and Mark. Caring grandfather of Brianna Crandall and numerous other grandchildren. Great grandfather of Kayleb Chapman, Jenna Chapman, Isabella Crandall, and several other great-grandchildren. Brother of Gene, Rosemary, Barb, and the late Onetta, Betty, Wanda, and Carol. Dave is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Dave was much loved and will be remembered by those who knew him. Dave proudly served in the United States Marines. Many years ago, David served as a member of the Goshen Fire Department and the Goshen Police Department. He was a member of the Shriners, Masons, and the Clermont Sportsman Club. Dave was well known in his community as one who served others in need.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the Clermont Sportsman Club, 1901 Elklick Rd., Batavia, OH 45103 on April 20 from 12 Noon to 5PM. A graveside service at Goshen Cemetery with military honors will be held on April 26, 2024 at 10AM.
