Darryl R. Trace of Blanchester, OH. Born on September 21, 1952 in Mariemont, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2021 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of 49 years to Jessie Lee (nee Sturgill) Trace. Loving father of Melissa Ann Trace and the late Johnny Raymond Trace. Caring grandfather of Tyler Matthew Trace, Jenna Nicole Turner and Dustin Wade Trace. Proud great-grandfather of Drew White. Dear brother of Karen Royer and the late Carol Favazzo. Cherished son of the late Pearl and Jessie (nee Van Meter) Trace. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, many relatives and dear friends. Darryl proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Friends will be received from 5 PM to 8 PM on Monday, February 22 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 23. Interment, Goshen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Darryl Trace to Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076. Pastor Jason Faulkner will be the minister for Darryl's services.
