Darrell Lynn Roberts of Goshen, OH., passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born on August 8, 1958, in Hillsboro, OH.

Darrell is the beloved husband of the late Alvia Mae (nee Carney) Roberts; loving father of Rebecca (Marccus) Hancock; proud papaw of Corrine Hancock and Conner Hancock; dear sister of Laura Norris; cherished son of the late Cecil and Genevieve (nee Black) Roberts; caring uncle of Shannon Knapp and Rachel Walker Moore; also survived by many dear friends.

Darrell was a firefighter/paramedic for over 36 years with multiple departments, 26 years with Goshen Township Fire & EMS, where he was a lieutenant before his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He grew up as a farm boy in Hillsboro and continued into his adulthood with many gardens and fields at home. He spent many summers in Bergoo, West Virginia with his wife and family at the family home.

Friends will be received from 5 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, September 26 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen.
