Danny McCoon of Goshen, OH. Born on February 28, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2016 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 50 years to Bernadette (nee Anthony) McCoon. Loving father of Teddy Wooten Jr., Kim (Mike) Cooney, Denise (Dave) Browning, Angie (Mike) Moore, Danny McCoon II and the late Scott Wooten. Caring grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Patrick McCoon, Randall McCoon, Michael McCoon and the late Raymond and James McCoon. Cherished son of the late James and Edna (nee Freeman) McCoon. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Services will be held on Monday, December 19, 12 Noon, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment, Myers Cemetery. Pastor Phil Hopper will be the minister for the services.
