Daniel Ray Sturgill of Fayetteville passed on December 1, 2023, at the age of 69. He was born on July 7, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Zelmer Ray Sturgill and Wilma Bernice Sturgill. Daniel and his cherished wife, Connie Jo (nee Estes) Sturgill, were excited to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on December 29, 2023.

Daniel is survived by his grandchild, Karley Jo Sturgill, his nephew, Joey Ashcraft, and his niece, Nina Smyth. He is preceded in death by his sons, Jason Ray and Joshua Lee Sturgill, and his sister, Donna (nee Sturgill) Ashcraft. Also survived by many dear relatives and friends.

Friends will be recieved from 10am to 11am on Wednesday, December 6, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 11am.  Rev. Larry Hartman will be officiating.
