Dan brought warmth, joy, and a larger-than-life personality to everyone he encountered. His infectious spirit and outgoing nature left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Dan's journey through life was one characterized by love, laughter, a deep sense of faith, and a commitment to serving his community.
Dan worked at Contractors Materials, Inc. for 35 years, making frequent trips to northern Ohio to call on customers. Prior to retirement, Dan began volunteering by mentoring prisoners and after retirement assisted in leading a class with City Gospel Mission, helping men who were reforming their lives.
Dan enjoyed singing in the choirs at Church of the Saviour and Sycamore Community Singers. He actively participated in Bible studies and a men's lunch group at church. He golfed in a league and enjoyed a Parkinson's Rock Steady Boxing class until walking proved more difficult for him.
