Mr. Daniel John Muenzer, 23, of Toledo, OH passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. Born in Toledo, OH, Dan is the beloved son of John and Mary Muenzer. He attended Elgin High School where he was a proud captain of the football team prior to enlisting in the United States Armed Forces. Dan proudly served his country for four years. Dan loved reading war novels, sports, and enjoying the company of his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Dan is survived by his fianc Natalie Lombardozzi and beautiful daughter Carmella, his siblings Katharine (John), Joseph (Amanda), Caroline (Anthony and their daughter Amelia), Elizabeth, Michael and Raymond, as well as the entire Dillon, Muenzer and Lombardozzi families. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 7-8:30pm at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC 29730. The family will receive friends and family from 4 to 8 pm, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. A Catholic Mass will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236 with Father Dennis Jaspers officiating. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Cincinnati, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daniel Muenzer Memorial fund to support his fianc Natalie and daughter Carmella.
