Daniel “Dan” Alan Galgozy of Morrow, OH., passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 55. Dan was born on April 1, 1971, in Niles, OH.
He is the beloved husband of 26 years to Tonya (nee Wardlow) Galgozy, loving father of Sam Galgozy and Lily Galgozy, cherished son of Ada Mae (nee Fenton) Galgozy and the late Richard Galgozy, dear brother of David Kennedy and Lara (Joseph) Zucco, proud uncle of Katelin (Colin) Davis, Mikayla (Greg) Trager, Brooke Zucco, Hannah Zucco and Alex Lipp. Also survived by numerous relatives and many dear friends.
Dan graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He later went on to earn his Master of Business Administration from Xavier University, furthering his passion for leadership and innovation. Dan dedicated 26 years of his professional life to Procter & Gamble, where he served as a respected Project Manager. Throughout his career, he was known for his strong work ethic, thoughtful leadership, and commitment to excellence, mentoring colleagues and contributing to countless successful projects.
Dan cherished the time he spent with his family, especially creating lasting memories together at Disney Parks and through the Disney Vacation Club. He had a deep appreciation for music, particularly the laid-back tunes of Jimmy Buffett—attending many of his concerts over the years—as well as the iconic sound of Pink Floyd. A devoted sports fan, Dan loyally supported University of Cincinnati Football and the Cleveland Browns, rarely missing a chance to cheer on his favorite teams.
