Daniel "Dan" J. Dentinger of Montgomery. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Homan) Dentinger. Loving father of Wesley Joseph Dentinger, Haley Elissa Dentinger, and Timothy Daniel Dentinger. Adoring son of the late Gerald "Jerry" and Jane Dentinger. Devoted brother of Sarah (Michael) Merrick. Dear son-in-law of Howard and Janice Homan. Caring brother-in-law of Lisa (Mark) Permelia, Janelle (James) Holtzapple, Marian (Jimmy) Dickinson, Lee (Janelle) Homan, Mark (Laura) Homan, and Darren (Brittany) Homan. Proud to be an uncle to Kramer Merrick, Benjamin Merrick, Samuel Merrick, Emily Permelia, Anthony Permelia, Michael Permelia, Quinn Holtzapple, Vincent Holtzapple, Reagan Holtzapple, Joshua Dickinson, Samantha Dickinson, Jacob Dickinson, Ezekiel Homan, Max Homan, Evelyn Homan, Cole Homan, Miles Homan, Bentley Homan, Paisley Homan, and the late Andrew Dickinson. Cherished "nephew" to Clarissa (David) Duvall. Loved by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Passed away May 8, 2023 at the age of 43.

Dan will be missed for his perfectly timed warm hugs, his unending patience and persistence, and his corny jokes and laughter. He is remembered for his leadership as a coach in his kids' sports, robotics team, and Lego League, and a fun and capable Cub Scout leader with a really fast derby car.

Family and friends will be received from 3:30-7 PM on Thursday, May 11 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH. 45140. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 PM on Friday, May 12 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH. 45249, where family and friends will be received from 11 AM until Mass. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
