He was born March 1, 1928, of the late Paul and Pearle (Stotler) Colvin in Curtisville, Indiana. Beloved husband of Ruth Mary (nee Brinkman) Colvin. Devoted father of Michael (Marilyn), Dana Jr., (Linda), Steve (Pat), Robert, John, Andrew (deceased), and David (Karen). He was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was an avid pilot and an active member of the Soaring Society of America, Caesar Creek Soaring Club, Experimental Aircraft Association, and AOPA. He delighted in the company of his fellow pilots and aviation friends and "family." He was also a long time member of the Cincinnati Nature Center. A private family service has been held.
