Daisy T. T. Shen Feng was born in Shanghai on April 19, 1929. She married Sam Feng on October 1, 1948 and promptly moved to Taiwan, where they had two sons, Benjamin Pen-Li and Pen Ku. In November 1961, the family immigrated to Cincinnati. They have three grandchildren, Jennifer, Samuel and Jonathan, and one great-granddaughter, Dana. Daisy was an exemplary wife and mother. One of the happiest time might have been in Taiwan from 1956 to 1961, when she had to face the challenge of being a mother and financial provider while Sam was studying in the U.S.. She studied hard and improved her English, so she could land a job with J. G. White, a U.S. firm in Taiwan. With her children, she was patient and encouraging. With her friends and relatives, she was very generous. She brought many relatives to Cincinnati from China after the Cultural Revolution. She had influenced many people in their lives.
