Loving mother of Connie (Jim) Helms, David (Jo Ann) Purnell, Tom (Sherry) Purnell, Debbie (Dr. John) McCall, Theresa (Mark) Tipton, Jan (Tim) Lowery, Jodi Webb, Kim (Chuck) Curran, and the late Kenneth Purnell. Proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by siblings, Richard Ordean, Barbara Prieser, Marilyn Jordan, and Nancy Clark; and grandson, Kippy Gideon. Joann passed away peacefully on September 23, 2017 at the age of 91.
